Return & Refund Policy
At Maggio’s Confectionery, we take pride in crafting and packaging our products with care and attention. While we hope you’ll be delighted with your order, we understand that issues may occasionally arise. Below is our detailed policy regarding returns and refunds.
Eligibility for Returns
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns on perishable food items as sweets, confectionery, and custom-made goods, unless:

The item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting photos and order number.
We are unable to accept returns for:

Products that have been opened, consumed, or tampered with.

Items returned outside the stated timeframe.

Orders where the customer has simply changed their mind, and the product is not faulty, or the customer didn't comply with the conservation instructions.
Return Procedure
If you believe your item qualifies for a return, please contact us at maggiosconfectionery@gmail.com with the following:

Photos of the product and packaging
We will assess your request and respond within 2 business days with next steps, unless the website is temporarily indicated not activo.
Refunds
Once your return is approved and (if applicable) the item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the reception and issued to your original payment method.
Please note:

Refunds are issued only for the value of the product; shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

In some cases, we may offer a replacement item or a store credit instead of a refund.
Return Shipping

If the return is approved due to damage or error, we will cover the return shipping costs or arrange collection.

If the return is not due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping and ensuring the item arrives safely.
Important Notes

All products are handmade or carefully selected, and slight variations in appearance or packaging may occur. These do not constitute defects.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened food items under any circumstances.
Shipping Policy
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only, using Royal Mail Tracked 48 for all deliveries. This service offers reliable, trackable shipping with delivery typically within 2–3 business days from dispatch.
Processing Time
Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days.
Custom or made-to-order items may require additional time, which will be clearly communicated at checkout or via email.
Shipping Method & Rates
All parcels are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48, which includes full tracking and delivery confirmation.
Typical rates based on parcel size and weight:

Prices are based on Royal Mail’s standard Collection service and may vary slightly depending on packaging and volume.
Free Collection at Borough Market
Customers may also collect their orders in person from our stall at Borough Market on opening days, free of charge.
This option is available by prior arrangement, and we kindly ask that you book your collection slot in advance to ensure your order is ready email maggiosconfectionery@gmail.com
Tracking & Confirmation
Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your Royal Mail tracking number. You can follow your parcel’s journey and receive updates until delivery.
Delivery Issues
If your parcel is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, please contact us at [your email] within 7 days of delivery. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue promptly.
