Our Story

As Italians, sugared almonds — or confetti, as we call them — have always been part of life’s most meaningful celebrations: christenings, birthdays, weddings, and graduations.
When our own wedding day was approaching, I took my Spanish fiancée to visit the same traditional maestri confettieri who, 45 years earlier, had crafted the confetti for my parents’ wedding.
For her, it was a revelation. She had never encountered this Italian custom, and she was instantly captivated by both the taste and the heritage behind it.
Together, we dove deeper — learning about the ingredients, the flavours, and the artisanal processes that make these sugared almonds so special. The more we learned, the more our passion grew.
That passion soon became a mission: to bring the finest Italian confetti to Britain, so that others could celebrate their most important moments with this timeless, delicious tradition.
